THE BIG EVENT!! August 26 and 27, 2011

We have finalized all of the details and are happy to announce the plans for the Magnet Open Art Project Exhibition in Concord, NH on August 26-27, 2011. 

Exhibition Viewing:
Friday, August 26, 2011 from 4 to 10 pm

Free Art! Magnets displayed on Main Street Storefronts: 

Saturday, August 27...All day long! Stroll down Main Street and see if you can find a great work of art. We politely ask that you choose only one free piece of magnet art to take home with you.

Minor Threat Pop-Up Gallery: The Capital Take-Over

The Magnet Open Art Project will be on view at the Minor Threat Pop-Up Gallery for one night only! Come by the Pop-Up and view the exhibition of the art that has been sent in from all over NH and the world. We will be displaying these wonderful miniature works of contemporary art on salvaged refrigerator doors liberated from the dump in Salisbury. In addition, tons of original art will be for sale at the gallery and there will be food and music. It promises to be a fun and exciting event. Be sure to stop by!



FREE PUBLIC ART!
Saturday, August 27, 2011- All day long or until all of the magnet art has been taken.
All of the magnet art will be placed on storefronts along Main Street in downtown Concord, NH. We will be putting out the magnets in batches so that we can spread out the opportunity for the public to find art all day long. Please choose only one free piece of magnet art to take home with you so that others can enjoy the fun of the hunt! 


Stop by and visit us at the Minor Threat Pop-Up Gallery during the day. The gallery will be open from 10 to 4 on Saturday. We will have information about our sponsors and WCA-NH on hand. We would be happy to talk to you more about the project!
